Rose Quartz Gemstone Pendant
Rose Quartz Gemstone Pendant
Rose Quartz PENDANT:
Rose Quartz was crafted into precious jewellery by the Assyrians back in 800 BC. Since then, this soft and bright quartz has passed from civilization to civilization; making peace with the Greeks, preventing the signs of aging in the Egyptians, and used as a claim of ownership during Roman times.
Today rose quartz is often used as jewellery, for meditation, or as decoration in homes or office spaces.
Rose quartz is a mineral composed primarily of silicon dioxide and is one of the most abundant types of minerals that are found on earth. The crystal can be found and is commercially mined in a number of places across the United States, Australia, Brazil, Madagascar, South Africa, India, Sweden, and Germany.
The rose quartz is a pale pink stone that is part of the quartz crystal family. Deeper pink varieties of the stone are sometimes called strawberry rose quartz. Lavender rose quartz varieties are pale purple. Real stones are normally lacking in good transparency and will be slightly opaque and normally have white streaks embedded in the actual crystal stone.
The Rose Quartz meaning is greatly connected to its pink colour. Pink represents gentleness, calmness, femininity, compassion and love. The gentle energy it carries support and rekindles relationships, bringing joy, passion and contentment. Its delicate charm and soothing colour give a calming effect to the mind and body.
While there’s no scientific evidence that rose quartz crystals offer any health benefits, they’re still commonly used for healing purposes. Some believe that it is able to prevent heart attacks and thrombosis by developing and improving your circulation system, and aids in ensuring your muscles can be strong and as smooth as possible.
Linked with the Zodiac sign of Taurus, Rose Quartz with its pink quartz shimmer is the perfect match for this sensitive sign. Taureans are ruled by the planet Venus (just like the Rose Quartz), and we know that Venus is the planet most aligned with themes of beauty, love, hedonism, and comforts of the heart. It’s a stone that recognizes that there may be times when the stubborn nature of Taureans can work against their best interests and so it brings open-hearted compassion to the table to help them learn to go with the flow a little more.
Libra’s too can fall hard for the finery of Rose Quartz as their birthstone as it helps them to tune into their real thoughts and to cast aside superficial fantasies about love.
